NEW DELHI — The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 are set to launch in India soon, but the price of the true wireless stereo (TWS) earphones has already been revealed.

In India, the Galaxy Buds 2 are speculated to be priced just about Rs. 13,000, making them more expensive than the original Galaxy Buds but less so than the Galaxy Buds Pro, which debuted in January.

However, Samsung has not yet revealed the pricing or availability information for the Galaxy Buds 2 in India.

Expected price of Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 in India

Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 TWS will cost Rs. 12,990, according to a report by 91Mobiles in cooperation with tipster Yogesh Brar. The Galaxy Buds 2 comes in Graphite, Lavender, Olive, and White colours and costs $149.99 (approximately Rs. 11,100) globally.

The available original Samsung Galaxy Buds are priced at Rs. 9,990, while the Galaxy Buds Pro costs Rs. 15,990 in the country.

Specification of Samsung Galaxy Buds 2

A tweeter and a woofer are included in the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2's two-way driver design. In the Buds, three microphones are included. Two of the microphones are used for active noise cancellation (ANC). Tuned by AKG, these have an IPX7 splash & water resistance rating.

Bluetooth v5 is used in the TWS earbuds. A voice pickup unit, accelerometer, proximity sensor, gyroscope, hall sensor, and touch sensor are among the two connections & sensors onboard (VPU).

Battery life for Samsung Galaxy Buds 2

According to Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 has a total battery life of up to 29 hours (including the charging case), with the earbuds providing up to seven-and-a-half hours of playback with ANC switched off. The battery life lowers to roughly 20 hours when ANC is enabled.

The earpiece casing contains a 472mAh battery and each earpiece has a 61mAh battery. Samsung claims users can obtain one hour of listening time with just five minutes of charging while Qi wireless charging is also supported by the case.
