We had just one room to live in. Things were very difficult. But as I worked hard in this craft, we own a big house now and live a comfortable life, full of happiness and peace of mind,” Bashir says while thanking Almighty for giving him the skilful hands.
Sozni Pashmina Shawls are not any ordinary shawls. In fact, these are made from rich fibre and sold at a very high price across the globe. What makes Bashir unique is his skill which is unmatched and has been adding a distinctly vibrant look and feel to these shawls.

Recalling the event, Bashir says “Participants at the workshop were artisans from different countries. We interacted with each other and learned about each other’s work. I came to know how artisans in other countries work.
I believe that art and craft have no boundaries. If you have a passion for something, you have to follow it with all your effort and not worry about anything or should I say money. When you master the art, money follows you thereafter. And, do away with all sorts of hesitation. This is what makes a difference between failure and success,” Bashir advises the youth with a charming smile.
