Twitter veteran at the wheel

Thirty-seven-year-old Parag Agrawal, who is in fact a Twitter veteran, has been serving the company as chief technology officer since 2017. An IIT-Bombay and Stanford University alumnus, Agrawal is a Ph.D. in Computer Science and holds a Bachelor's in Computer Science from ITT. It was in October 2011 that he joined Twitter, and had shaped the social media major’s technical strategy.

Going by Twitter’s Agrawal bio, he has been involved in formulating “technical strategy and overseeing machine learning and AI across the consumer, revenue, and science teams."

With Jack Dorsey now having stepped down, it is now in the hands of Parag Agrawal to steer Twitter. And, India cannot stop celebrating.
