BMW Group India has brought forth its new BMW M4 Competition Coupé for the luxury car enthusiast

Promising an uncompromised track and street experience at a whole new level with distinctive combinations, BMW Group India has brought forth its new BMW M4 Competition Coupé for the Indian luxury car enthusiast. Positioned as a high-performance sports car, the car has been showcased on the company’s shop.bmw.in as a completely built-up unit.

Made available as a petrol variant at ex-showroom price of Rs 1,43,90,000, the all-new BMW M4 Competition comes in metallic hues of Skyscraper grey, Portimao Blue, Black Sapphire, Sao Paulo Yellow, Toronto Red. It is also available in Alpine White shades as a non-metallic option.

The company has said that the car will also be offered for optional BMW Individual metallic paint finishes such as Tanzanite Blue, Dravitgrey, Aventurine Red, Frozen Brilliant White, Frozen Portimao Blue. Other optional BMW Individual Special Paintworks available are Frozen Orange, Frozen Black, Frozen Deep Grey.

The virtual showroom also offers the ability to explore a 360-degree view of the car’s exterior and interior along with all features and personalisation options at the click of a button.

BMW India is also offering buyers of the M4 Competition Coupé a membership to the exclusive BMW Excellence Club, which doles out luxury experiences from around the world. The car comes holding aloft its performance supremacy and emotionally engaging driving experience.

The carmaker has also thrown in the M-specific version of the large, vertical BMW kidney grille with hallmark double bars in a horizontal design, the powerfully sculpted wheel arches with eye-catching M gills, and the prominently extended side sills with attachment parts for the front and rear aprons.

A standard offering is the adaptive LED headlights. Meanwhile, the exterior mirrors have aerodynamically optimized contouring and the vehicle sports aerodynamically optimized fins, a rear spoiler and two pairs of exhaust tailpipes finished in black chrome.

Coming to the interior, an ergonomically impeccable cockpit design stands out. It also houses electrically adjustable seats. Multifunction for steering wheel, seat heating with lumbar support for driver and front passenger, electrical seat adjustment with memory function, and automatic anti-dazzle function in all mirrors provide ultimate luxury. The lightweight high-tech carbon fibre reinforced polymer sunroof lowers the centre of gravity and enhances its agility.

The BMW M4 Competition’s petrol engine offers an output of 510 hp and a maximum torque of 650 Nm at 2,750-5,500 rpm. The car accelerates from 0 -100 km in just 3.5 seconds.

Safety features galore

BMW ConnectedDrive technologies include telephony with wireless charging, head up display, smartphone integration, active protection including attentiveness assistant with park distance control with sensors at the front and rear and parking assistant.

The safety features thrown in include head and side airbags for driver and front passenger as well as head airbags for rear seats. Dynamic stability control including anti-lock braking system, automatic stability control, cornering brake control, dynamic brake control, and more.
