Pegasus Scandal: Rahul Gandhi says the opposition parties are united

“Sitting with the entire opposition is extremely humbling. Amazing experience, wisdom and insight in everyone present. #United,” the Wayanad MP wrote on his Twitter handle.

NEW DELHI — Congress leader and Member of Parliament, Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday stated that the opposition parties were united against the ruling party, pointing to the issues like Pegasus snooping row and Assam-Mizoram border clashes.

“Sitting with the entire opposition is extremely humbling. Amazing experience, wisdom and insight in everyone present. #United,” the Wayanad MP wrote on his Twitter handle.

It would not be out of place to recall that the opposition parties chanted slogans over Pegasus row in the Rajya Sabha, forcing two adjournments - first at 12 PM and the second at 2 PM on Wednesday.

The House was then adjourned as the opposition stirred the pot in the spying controversy.

Earlier, 14 opposition parties met ahead of the start of House proceedings to establish a unified strategy to surround the government on issues such as the Pegasus spying scandal and the Assam-Mizoram dispute.

The Congress, DMK, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Shiv Sena, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Samajwadi Party, CPI-M, CPI, National Conference (NC), AAP, IUML, RSP, KCM, and the VCK were among the parties that attended the meeting.
