Want to delete the last 15 minutes of your search history? Google is letting you do that!

Android users will now be able to quickly delete the last 15 minutes of their Google search history

How would you feel if you are given the option of wiping off the last 15 minutes of your Google search history? Excited, right? Yes, the global tech behemoth is rolling out for its users the option of just clicking a button and wiping away the last 15 minutes of their Google search history.

In fact, Apple users are familiar with this feature as Google had given iPhone users this facility last summer. Google had provided iPhone users this option when it spruced up its iOS app. And, though a tad late, Android users also can put this feature to play.

Deleting your search history? Here’s how to do that

Experiencing the joy of deleting the most recent search history with a single click is something awesome. With Google offering the option to remove the last 15 minutes of users’ search history to its official Android app, fans of the OS will be now on cloud 9!

If you are an Android user, all you need to do to make the feature up and running on your device is this. Click open the Google app on your Android device and tap on your profile. The pop-up menu will show you a "Delete last 15 minutes" option. Look for the option under "Search history." Just tap it, and the app will do the rest. That means it will delete all search history you had made use of in the last 15 minutes.

A cut above the rest

This new addition is likely to be much appreciated than the earlier history wiping options Google had given its users long time ago. The company had listed a few ways to fully clear users’ Google search history. It had also provided a 3-month, 18-month, and 36-month options of deleting history earlier.

Those who have time can also look at their history manually and delete items they choose to wipe out of the device. These options had come in handy for a good majority of Android users, but the latest deleting 15-minutes of search option could stand a step above all those that had come earlier. The ability to wipe off a single session is awesome, right?
